WEEK 04 / PU APPLICATION
For Week 04, I tried a PU application on a cotton hoodie. It's a finish more commonly associated with faux leather, but on cotton it gives a completely different result: an uneven sheen over the soft fabric underneath. I wanted to see how far I could push the surface without turning the hoodie into something else.
PU means polyurethane. It's a material often used to create faux-leather finishes. Here, it's applied to cotton, leaving irregular areas of sheen against the original matte fabric.
WEEK 03 / REVEALED
Same hoodie, different process. For Week 03 I used pigment dye to give the fabric a softer, dusty brown tone with natural highs and lows across the garment. The finish feels worn-in from day one and will continue to develop with wear and washing.

Same base hoodie, another vintage wash. This time I changed where the fading sits and how the washed areas are distributed across the garment.

The first hoodie starts with subtle distressing and a washed, worn-in finish. Nothing too aggressive — just enough to change the original black hoodie without losing the piece underneath.
